We enjoyed going slow and seeing things that we had missed before.

We were amazed at all the animals that we saw today. Several times in the past when we have ridden this ride,
the "animal show" was almost non-existent -- they were all asleep or hiding in the shade somewhere.

We were so glad that we had decided to get up early so that we could get to the park early in the morning before
it became too hot. We were not disappointed -- all of the animals were out and we relished in seeing all the
beautiful and magnificent creatures.

After our fantastic ride through the "African Serengeti," we walked out through a trail that allows you to see
birds and other animals and of course through the Gorilla display. All of them were out -- including a mother who
sat up on a rock with her 8-week old baby nestled in snug on her stomach.

D was in heaven as this is her absolute favorite exhibit not only here but at any animal park or zoo.
